The Bichon Frise is a charming and appealing dog that loves human company
Bichons have an independent spirit, is intelligent, sweet and affectionate, bold and bubbly. This charming gentle natured dog is not a yapper, it as a self assured happy temperament which is easy to live with.
These bright little dogs are easy to train and just loves everyone, they need people to be happy, they are naturally sociable and are happiest when with the family.
This sociable trait also means that they are fine in the company of other dogs and pets and are excellent with children.
Bichons can live in apartments if given enough exercise, they are fairly active indoors and can live without a yard, but would need a daily walk.
Play will take a lot of their exercise needs, however, like all breeds, play does not fulfill their primal instinct to walk.
